On Tuesday February 21st, The Rochmon Record Club will converge to listen, learn about and discuss the classic 1971 album “Who’s next” by The Who at the Universal Preservation Hall at 25 Washington St. in Saratoga Springs.
Released in 1971 “Who’s next” is the fifth studio album by The Who. It’s firmly sandwiched in between 1969’s “Tommy” and 1973’s “Quadrophenia”. Featuring classic Who songs such as “Baba O’Riley” and “Won’t Get Fooled Again” “Who’s next” is an amazing album which helped define The Who and is widely ranked in fan and critic’s “Best Of” lists as one of the best albums ever made. We agree...
The event begins at 7pm with a live audio & video presentation by Chuck Vosganian aka “Rochmon.” A Rochmon Record Club Listening Party is meant to inform and deepen our understanding of the history of the individual performers, the songs and the stories that made this iconic album. Conversation and discussion will follow.
Light refreshments will be available. This event is free, donations are encouraged. All donations go to the restoration fund of the Universal Preservation Hall. For questions please call or text Chuck Vosganian, 518-792-2711.
