Nacre Dance Company and Octavo Singers combine talents for Victorian Streetwalk.
Nacre Dance Company and Octavo Singers will delight audiences of all ages as they combine talents for Saratoga Springs' 2014 Victorian Streetwalk on Thursday, December 4th for two shows at 7:30pm and 8:15pm.
This unique performance of holiday dance classics from the "Nutcracker" and "Christmas Oratorio" will also include traditional holiday carols sung by Octavo Singers' who accompany Nacre dancers as they grace the stage with a "moving bell" ensemble to ring in the holiday season!
Kickoff the holiday season with the downtown Victorian Streetwalk and Saratoga Tree Lighting Ceremony! It is the 28th Annual Victorian Streetwalk on Thursday, December 4, 2014 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The City traditionally features music, magic, gingerbread house display, Festival of Trees, choral groups, Victorian Costumes, Santa & Mrs. Claus, live reindeer, lots of venues with entertainment, all free and open to the public. Santa and Mrs. Claus will make an appearance, arriving by horse drawn carriage, they will visit with your children. There will be free hot chocolate and cookies with music by Star 101.3 radio. But don't forget the most important part -- the tree lighting! In front of Putnam Market, 435 Broadway.
CDTA is running free shuttle buses every 20 minutes from the Empire State College parking lot at 111 West Avenue on Saratoga Springs’ west side, the Oklahoma track (just off Exit 14 of I-87) and the Weible Avenue Skating Rink parking lots on the east side of Saratoga Springs to downtown, bringing carloads of people to and from the Victorian Streetwalk from 4:30 until 10:30.
