Good news for Saratoga racing: New York Governor Paterson’s bill to lend NYRA $25 million passed, saving the 2010 summer racing season in Saratoga Springs.
The $25 million loan will preserve thoroughbred racing seasons at Saratoga, Belmont and Aqueduct, which are run by the New York Racing Association (NYRA). This puts at ease much concern over the future of racing in New York State leading up to this event. Click here to read more from Saratoga.com.
